- I had to wipe the goop out of my groggy eyes to make sure I didn't miss any glass shards.
- I yelled at my kids to make sure they got the point that pieces could've landed in Tripp's eyes.
- I then apologized to my kids for yelling at them, and asked for forgiveness.
- I had to get the vacuum out and now the bedrooms are picked up and have pretty vacuum-lines in the carpet.
- I got an early start on laundry, because miniscule glass bits were all over Tripp's blanket.
- I realized that I am so very thankful we don't have CFL bulbs in our house... I have a feeling this will be a common occurrence and we don't need to add mercury spills to the situation.
Did you get a jump start on your day?

Oh no, sounds horrible. :(
I'm sorry you had to deal with that.
My morning was just fine.. you know, my two year old screaming Mommy at the top of his lungs at 5 am b/c as he says "All done" which means he's done sleeping.. :-)

ahhhh, just one of "those" days. we actually had a pretty relaxing morning today and all of our bulbs are intact, totally relishing in that:-) xoxo
oh gosh, so sorry for all of this commotion. i've definitely had jump start days like this that just got my butt in gear and got things done. kind of need one of those right about now (but the good kind of jump start - if that makes sense).

I'm glad you were able to pick everything up before anyone got hurt. I've had many days like this, when my morning goes so frazzle and I end up feeling nutty for most of the day. I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
