flavored water

The other day I stumbled upon this tutorial on making your own flavored water. Why, oh why, have I not done this before?! Yesterday the boys and I whipped up our own little concoction of Blueberry Lime, but as soon as we can get our hands on some fresh herbs and raspberries we're doing the whole gamut. I am really excited to try them all- Raspberry Lime, Marionberry Sage, Citrus, Watermelon Rosemary, and maybe try something with cucumber!

Basically, all you do is toss in your fruits/herbs of choice, pound on them with a wooden spoon, fill up with ice and then cover with water! Simple, simple, simple.

Monica has really outdone herself with this- beautiful pictures and links for where to buy your half-gallon jars. Luckily, I already have a few hanging around!

The perfect drink for summer!
(and a great way to get away from all the soda pop, juices, and sports drinks)

This looks like an amazingly fresh and tasty idea! I love how they look too! Mason jars are really taking over blogland and, well, the south :)

These look great! I like putting mint and mixed berries into my water especially.
